Your learning style

The following three factors are the major factors that determine your preferred learning style.

The three senses
  Auditory
  Visual
  Kinaesthetic
The two reasoning types
  Deductive
  Inductive
The two environments
  Intrapersonal
  Interpersonal

What does this mean for the Institute’s Professionals course?
In both Professionals Online and Professionals Onsite, there is much 'learning by doing', which will generally appeal to the kinaesthetic learner.

In the online part of Professionals Online, there are no sound files to listen to – all instructions are in writing – though you can, of course, phone your instructor if something is not clear.

Both forms of the course are neutral as far as reasoning types are concerned.

Working closely in groups is strongly favoured in Professionals Onsite and in the onsite part of Professionals Online but is minimised in the online part of Professionals Online.
