“I had just been employed as a law graduate when I began the IPLS course. I was nervous that I would struggle with work, ‘profs’ and family commitments. It became clear in the first few weeks that the IPLS online course was set up for busy people like me. If I did get behind [because of outside pressures] I could reschedule and catch up. Thankfully, at the end of each subject I sat the exam immediately while it was fresh in my mind.

The whole system worked because of the availability of our instructor, only ever a phone call away, or I could pop in to see her at the city-based IPLS office.
