Professionals online

This is the part-distance – part full-time Professional Legal Studies Course (PLSC) offered by the Institute.

Duration
This course runs for 19 weeks in a continuous block, of which 3.5 weeks will involve onsite attendance at Institute premises in the centre of the trainee’s choosing.

Distance learning weeks
During these weeks, trainees are required to work an average of 2.75 hours per weekday and 5.5 hours per weekend – a total of 19.25 hours per week.

Onsite weeks
The weeks in which a trainee is required to attend onsite will depend on the intake in which the trainee is enrolled.

Each on site training day comprises 6.25 hours of training on-site. The classroom contact hours are from 8.30am to 4.00pm each day, with two 15-minute breaks and a 45-minute lunch break. Occasional attendance on some evenings may also be required.

Attendance is compulsory throughout the onsite components of the online course.
