Overseas law degrees

If you have gained qualifications in law from another jurisdiction but have never been admitted in another jurisdiction, you must apply directly to the Council of Legal Education to have your academic and any practical legal qualifications in law assessed. The Council decides whether you are required to complete a professional legal studies course.

You may apply to enrol with the Institute in anticipation of completion of the Council’s requirements and any offer of a place will be subject to your successful completion of those requirements.
